Description:
Providence Perfume Co. was founded by perfumer Charna Ethier in 2009. True to her botanical ethos, each fragrance is created by hand in small batches, using essences from plants, flowers, fruits and woods. Rare extracts and Ethier's artisan tinctures are also harnessed, imparting olfactive qualities that evolve over time as top, middle and base notes are revealed on skin.

The absence of synthetic ingredients in natural perfumes requires know-how, finesse and a respectful relationship with plant-based materials. As a rule, Providence Perfume doesn't use materials derived from animals, an approach that appeals to perfume lovers that desire vegan and cruelty-free fragrances with traditional formulaic construction.

Six fragrances from the Providence Perfume collection will be experienced at this special Smell & Tell. The name and ingredients in each perfume will be revealed after they're smelled on fragrance blotters, a method that reduces distraction and permits a meditative approach to evaluating perfumes, allowing the embodied experience of conscious smelling to flower.
