Some background on the Taiko group, Peaceful Forest, which was formed by award winning taiko drummer Takumi Kato. He now performs with his 3 children and is based in Pennsylvania, from where they cross the U.S. in their goal of performing 1,000 concerts in all 50 US states. They are not yet there, so the 4 concerts here in Asheville (including appearing twice at the famous LEAF Festival) will really help them reach their goal.
