Greenway Opening Ride

After a 25 year wait The Greenway between the Cooks River and the Parramatta River is finally about to open. We will meet at the fountain in Summer Hill and ride on quiet back roads and some cycle paths to Johnson Park where the official opening is being held between 10am-1pm
You need to be 18 to join this ride and have a bicycle or legal e-bike, helmet, lights and a spare tube. Not suitcase for children as we will be riding on roads.
Easy ride, 3km one way.You can take your time and enjoy the festivities and make you own way home.
Please join us for this long awaited celebration.
We have no intention of riding on the Greenway as it is likely to be completely crowded with walkers and runners and doesn't present an ideal time to ride along its length.
We have an organised ride for our Christmas dinner for the 18th December which will start in the Yarning Circle at the Cooks River and go via the Greenway to the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel.
