Say No to Winter Hibernation- Ice Skating at the Empire State Plaza

Hi folks, lets get ready for another winter of outdoor fun set against the backdrop of the majestic New York State Capitol and Empire State Plaza
I will try to get there around 1pm.

1. Cost to Skate: Free
2. Skate Rentals: $5.00. Skate sizes range from child size 8 to adult size 15, subject to availability. A photo ID is required to rent skates.
3. Amenities: 25¢ locker rentals, skate rentals, and refreshments are available in the glass pavilion adjacent to the rink.

There's a gas fire pit to warm up your hands should they get cold.

Reminder! Ice rink hours and events are always subject to weather conditions. As we get closer to this date I will check the latest rink notifications and update.

I generally find free parking on Madison Ave, however there are parking locations here https://empirestateplaza.ny.gov/parking

Should be a gorgeous day for ice skating with temperatures in the mid 20's. Wear a hat/earmuffs and gloves/mittens to keep you warm.
