The Great Aussie Coast-to-Coast Road Trip: Sydney → Albany → Sydney

Get ready for the ultimate summer road trip! This December and January, we’re cruising from Sydney all the way to Albany, Western Australia, chasing endless horizons, turquoise beaches, rugged cliffs, and the pure freedom of the open road.

From white sandy beaches and towering sea cliffs to national parks and coastal towns that steal your heart, this journey will take you through some of Australia’s most stunning landscapes.

We’ll cross the legendary Nullarbor Plains, gaze over the Great Australian Bight, and explore gems like Port Lincoln National Park, Coffin Bay, Venus Bay, Port Augusta, Esperance, and Lucky Bay — with plenty of spontaneous stops and secret spots along the way.

And the adventure doesn’t end there — on our return, we’ll backtrack via the Nullarbor, taking time to explore the outback treasures we missed on the way over. Expect stops at Silverton, Broken Hill, White Cliffs, and Cobar before rolling back home via Dubbo.

• Driving: Max 5 hours per day — giving us plenty of time to relax, explore, and enjoy the journey.
• Flexible itinerary: Campsites and stops will be adjusted as needed based on availability and weather.
• Join anytime: This is a tag-along trip — jump in when you can and head home whenever you need.

• Motels/hotels where available

Please book your own accommodation and bring your camping essentials:

• Tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag

👨‍👩‍👧 Family -Friendly Travel

We’ll be towing our caravan with our little one on board — so yes, this trip is infant- and kid-friendly! If you’re happy to travel with families and soak up the relaxed pace of a family-friendly convoy, this adventure is for you.

💸 Gratuity

A $100 gratuity per person is kindly requested to cover trip planning, research, and coordination efforts. This contribution helps make the experience smooth, organized, and stress-free for everyone involved.
