Gorgeous Central Coast: Wagstaff Ferry to Box Head to Maitland Bay loop17km

Takes a bit of effort to get here but the ferry ride alone is worth it. Loop walk coming back to Wagstaffe for the ferry ride home too!

This is a very, scenic and beautiful walk, about 16km and a couple of ascents/descents the largest being 150m. Meet at Wagstaff ferry wharf, transport either drive or bus to Palm Beach and ferry to Wagstaff. There is limited parking at the wharf so arrive early

Once at Wagstaff we have a walk about 8km to Putty Beach via roads and trails Bouddi Coast Walk & other paths offering scenic views along the coast to the gorgeous Putty beach, shower and toilets on sight and BBQ too, a couple of ascents/descents the largest is 150m total. The walk is graded as easy but has a couple of ascents/descents so not totally flat after all it's coastal...

Next section again is mixed a bit of road walking but mainly coastal and walking tracks a loop back to Wagstaff ferry wharf and our trip home about 9km should be back in Wagstaff about 4pm

Please bring sturdy walking shoes/boots, a jacket in case of a change in weather, lunch, snacks, 2L of water, hat, suncream and a sense of fun and adventure.
Very important to bring lunch as no places to buy.

No bail out points as such as public transport limited.
