Mogo Campground Car Camping, walk or cycle the old Convict Road
Details
This is the chance to spend a car-camping weekend at peaceful Mogo Campground, You can walk or cycle the nearby Old Convict Road or just chillax. We can also have a campfire each night. Moreover, Mogo is fairly close to Sydney, only 111km from the Sydney CBD.
The plan is to arrive at Mogo Campground from 5PM on Friday 14 August. Campsites can be booked via the link here.

You can book a site for both Friday night and Saturday night or just for Saturday night. The campsites are large and can easily take two vehicles and two campers so please feel free to book a site and offer your site to be shared. I have booked site 7 and can share with two other people-let me know if you are interested in sharing.
Please note that this campsite is fairly remote, there is no mobile phone coverage and the closest town with a shop is Kulnura, 45mins drive away. You will need to bring all water for cooking and drinking. You will also need all camping gear and food from Friday evening until Sunday morning.
The campsite has composting toilets and a basic barbeque area and shelter.
There are two walks near Mogo Campground, a 5.3km return walk to Mount Manning Rock shelter which has an interesting indigenous art gallery. There is also a 4.3km return walk along Circuit Flat Circuit which features the remains of Circuit Flat Bridge and the Old Convict Road built by convicts in 1831.
I intend taking my mountain bike and doing some longer rides along the Old Convict Road and would like company if anybody wishes to come along.
On Sunday the plan is to leave at about 10AM and maybe have lunch at Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club - 18 Hallards Road Central Mangrove.
Event fee $20 person payable by PayID 0439543695 or on arrival in cash.
