AI for Business: Hands-On Workshop
***Bring your laptop + a paid Anthropic/OpenAI account***
**Location Change**
Speaker: Julio Barros
Description:
Most business owners have typed a question into ChatGPT. Far fewer have given AI an actual job in their business. The gap between “asking AI questions” and “giving AI a job” is the biggest competitive window most of us will see.
In one evening we go from “what is Claude” to a real working setup on your own laptop: a project the AI can see, your business profile loaded into its memory, one connector live (Gmail, Calendar, Notion, whichever you use most), and a real task from your week shipped. The task can be a recurring follow-up email, a messy folder of receipts, a report you rebuild every week, etc. Anything you’d hand off if you had a junior assistant.
We’ll cover the same chatbot-to-co-worker progression I walk through in my talks, but instead of watching me demo it, you’ll work on something important to you.
What to bring:
* a paid Anthropic or OpenAI account ($20 is fine)
* a laptop
* one tedious task you keep redoing
By the end of the session you’ll have a working project, at least one skill or scheduled task running, and a short list of what to automate next, in what order, so you don’t automate the wrong thing first.
Who it’s for: business owners, operators, and team leads ready to move past “I tried ChatGPT once” and start handing real work off.
