Details

Lets take the 1038 Train from Basel SBB to Laufen, Track 16. There we will switch to the Bus 112 at 1114 to Kleinlützel Ölibach and from there to the 1127 Bus 116 to Kleinlützel Chlösterli (I will join Dornach-Arlesheim). We should arrive there at 1130.

The next hour we climb up 300 meters. From there it is mostly flat or downhill to Aesch, which we will reach after 20 km. 650 up 800 down.

No restaurants. Should be dry. Good shoes and hiking sticks recommended.

There is a busstop at 7.3 km with a bus at 1459 and 1526. Which is doable, but not guaranteed.
