Short hike Laufen - Stürmechopf - Laufen
Details
This is an shorter hike.
Lets take the 1038 train from Basel SBB, Track 16, and reach Laufen at 1107.
I will join in Dreispitz SBB.
From there we will follow the first part along the planetary hike, past the sun and the first few planets over open fields but soon enter the forest.
After 90 minutes we reach Stürmechopf, the highest point of our hike and where we will have a break.
We continue through the forest mostly, a short visit to ruin Neuenstein and along the edge of the forest back to Laufen, the last part again over open field.
In Laufen we can get some cake or take the train back home.
The hike is 11.1 km, 3.5 hours walking, about 520 up and down.
