My name is Julie 👋 I look forward to meeting new friends and planning a nice variety of events for my members. I moved to Bend 8 years ago to be closer to family. I have enjoyed being a part of the Meetup community here.

Whether you have lived in Bend for a while, you're new to town, or you are considering moving here, we welcome you. Our members tend to be in the 40+ age range. However, we welcome all!!! Many people move here to retire or to be closer to their children or grandchildren. You will be in good company!

I especially enjoy planning events related to happy hour, food trucks, bars, restaurants, open mic nights, live music at bars/food truck venues. You will see a lot of evening events 🍷🍻 I WILL BE HAVING SINGLES EVENTS🥰!

All events are FREE, there are NO DUES to join. Some events may require buying a ticket such as movies or plays.

GUIDELINES AND POLICIES:

***Attending events***

All events will have an attendee limit based on the venue and type of event. Events can fill up quickly. When the event is full, a waitlist will start. Members are moved over from the waitlist to RSVP going in the order of when they signed up. It is beneficial to download the Meetup App and have notifications ON. This way you will get notices of being moved from a waitlist, notices of new events, comments under the events, changes in dates or times or specifics on directions. Please keep your RSVP current at all times. If you sign up for something and you can't make it, please update your RSVP. No shows are not acceptable, and we do keep track of how many a member has.

Let’s enjoy some drinks 🍷 🍻 and food truck eats while listening to smooth jazz.

Live music 6-8. Haute Melange is an elegant and sophisticated gypsy jazz ensemble whose name reflects its essence: “haute” meaning high class or refined and “Melange” a harmonious mix. With an intricate blend of masterful technique and rich artistry, the group seamlessly, weave, classic, gypsy jazz traditions with modern flare.
Let’s get there right at 5 o’clock to get a spot…..it gets crowded there!

Rivers Place “A community gathering oasis “! A climate controlled indoor taphouse, tons of parking, six big screen TVs (two are outside), huge outdoor area with fire pits, dog friendly of course, large selection of beer, wine and cider. Six delicious food trucks.

ATTENDING EVENTS:
If you RSVP and can’t make it …UNRSVP! All events have an attendee limit. Attendee limits are determined by the nature of the event, and the number of event hosts attending and event. Events fill up quickly. Members are encouraged to download the Meetup app to receive notifications for events as soon as they are posted. When an event is full (reached its attendee limit) you may be assigned to the waitlist. If spots open up members are automatically RSVPed to the event in the order that they joined the waitlist. No shows are not acceptable and we keep track of them. Afterer 3 no shows you are “no go”! Thanks for your consideration!
