Wanda wander
Details
Its time blow the cobwebs away with a riverside, bayside and seaside sojourn on a longer but still a relaxed ride on hopefully a sunny winter day.
Meet at the fountain in Lackey St Summer Hill (near the train station) we'll go to the Cooks River pathway then join the new Muddy Creek path and onto the Botany Bay side pathway to Captain Cook bridge. We can stop at Sans Souci for a swift coffee before heading over the bridge to hug the bay again, past Shark Park and across to the seaside, head to the dunes lookout, then on to the cafe at the Wanda Beach SLSC.
After another break for refreshments its back towards Sydney Park, past St Peters and Marrickville, through back streets to Stanmore and finish up again at Summer Hill.
There will be numerous train stations along the way to bail out (check track work notifications closer to the day).
This gentle paced ride of around 50 kms takes us mostly along shared paths though there will be some street riding and a number of traffic lights and busy road crossings to negotiate.
