End of the Road Ride 2026

It's that time of year! RSVP on meetup ASAP. This event is limited to 50 participants.
I know there's a lot of details, but please read!

1. Reserving a spot and attending the event. This event is limited to 50 participants so only dues paying Bike Prescott members and one guest may attend. In the comments let me know if you are only attending the lunch or only attending the ride. If attending both no need to comment. However you need to RSVP to attend this event - either the ride or the lunch or both. PLEASE DON'T JUST SHOW UP FOR THE RIDE OR THE LUNCH!!
2. START TIME - We'll leave from Park Plaza at 7:30 but you can also start at my house at 7:15 (826 Autumn Breeze). NO EARLY START TIMES!! I organized this ride so that I could participate meaning the more people that finish after me the better! In order to spread the riders out a bit, there is an END OF THE ROAD RIDE - EPIC VERSION and I am encouraging all of the faster riders to do this. It will add a few extra miles and some additional climbing to the Thumb Butte portion.
3. THE ROUTE - This classic Bike Prescott ride involves climbing several hills in Prescott (Skyline Drive, Thumb Butte, Copper Basin, Ponderosa Park, City Lights) to the end of the road. If you make it to the end you will find a treat. You can create your own ride by skipping one or more of the climbs or if you prefer, just come for lunch. After the ride we'll have lunch at my house - No need to bring anything.

The total is about 45 miles and 4500' of climbing. The Epic version is about 48 miles and 5070' of climbing.
