Book Besties is a social, community-first group for people who love books, chatting, and meeting new people — no pressure, no cliques, and definitely no pay-to-belong vibes.
📚 We host a mix of events, including:
• casual coffee meetups
• cinema trips
• quizzes and themed socials
• bookish chats (no required reading)

Meetup sometimes prompts users to upgrade in order to RSVP.
This is a Meetup platform fee, not something I charge or agree with.
👉 You do NOT need to RSVP on Meetup to attend events.
👉 Attendance is tracked via Eventbrite (free or paid, depending on the event).

There is no fee to register for free events.It’s simply how I keep an accurate headcount so events run smoothly.
