This month, we'll delve into Shelby Van Pelt's Remarkably Bright Creatures, a tale of resilience and discovery set against the backdrop of a quaint coastal town. This heartwarming and unforgettable debut novel tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a lonely widow and a remarkably intelligent giant Pacific octopus named Marcellus. It weaves together mystery, grief, healing, and hope—reminding us that connection can be found in the most unexpected places.
We will meet on Wednesday, July 30th, at 6:30 PM at Madeline's Restaurant in Fogelsville. Come and gather with us for an evening of good food, great company, and even better conversation as we celebrate the magic of this book together!
