What we’re about
We are a group dedicated to providing a place for people interested in everything from serious figurative drawing and painting, music, literature, to trying drawing for the first time in a supportive, comfortable space. We are headquartered at 285 Washington Street, suite 102, in Somerville, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
We post some information about our activities here on meetup but please visit our website at www.bostonfac.com for the most up-to-date calendar of events. Email us at draw@bostonfac.com with any questions.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Figure drawing at Natick mallNordstrom Natick Mall, Natick, MAUSD 20.00
Come draw a clothed/costumed model, and see our newest art space! Eat free snacks, drink our seltzer, and talk with other people interested in seeing a new concept, as we begin this collaboration with Zero Empty Spaces, a group that repurposes vacant mall space for rental and use by creative people. Located in the former Burberry's store next to Louis Vuitton, Nordstrom, and Bosse Pickleball at Natick mall, the BFAC is trying out a collaboration to open up a cultural spot for of visual art and artists, with potential for music and other events and projects. If enough people have interest, the location will become a permanent outpost for arts and community in the mall, and the seed for more culture and community. Free parking, A/C, and a whole mall of retail and restaurants right there for you after you draw!
