Bratislava Discovery: Bunkers
Železničná stanica Bratislava-Petržalka, Bratislava-Petržalka, SKA walkable glimpse into the (not so) recent history of our metropolis.
After gathering, we'll head straight to the corn fields near the Austrian border to hunt for concealed WW2 bunkers and an iron curtain memorial site. Underway, we'll also seek out the now-defunct tracks of the original Viedenská električka tram which until 1935 hauled theatre-goers and coffee lovers all the way to Vienna downtown.
After so much history, it's time for early dinner. After so much history, it's time for early dinner. Fast-forward to a local restaurant in Bratislava's quaint downtown with tasty, reasonably-priced Slovak food and beer.
Total time: ~4h (walk & dinner)
Language: EnglishOptional: After dinner, the group ventures on to the International Night Bratislava for networking, games and fun.

Slovak Language Walk - Kalvária
Clarion Congress Hotel Bratislava, Žabotova 2, Bratislava-Staré Mesto, SKAhoj, also trying to improve your Slovak one step at a time? Come join us for an open, mutual language practice walk. We will first gather at a conveniently located meeting spot near main station (hlavná stanica) and then follow an easy route around Bratislava's calm Kalvária neighborhood. In case of rain, the group will be heading to a nearby coffee shop instead.
The walk will conclude with group dinner at a casual restaurant or street food place (TBD). Afterwards, whoever is up for it can join us for the International Night.
Event is open for levels A2-B2, native speakers willing to help are welcome too.
