Artificial Intelligence in Project Management
Details
This is your official invitation to the last AI in Project Management event of 2025! This coming Monday (1 December) at 5pm at The Precinct. I look forward to seeing you there. Watch out for our exciting 2026 schedule - it is coming soon!
I’ll be unpacking one of the most significant AI-driven cyber incidents of the year — the China-linked GTG-1002 attack that hijacked Anthropic’s Claude. Rather than focusing purely on the cybersecurity angle, this session explores what project managers can take away from the event.
We’ll look at how the attackers used AI to rapidly break down complex problems, automate multi-stage execution, and bypass controls — and how these same capabilities can (ethically) improve how we plan, govern and deliver projects. We’ll also examine the growing risks that AI introduces into energy and digital infrastructure projects, including AI misuse, model “jailbreaking,” and the rise of unregulated open-source models.
The session links the incident back to core PM domains: scope, risk, planning, benefits, issues, stakeholders and control — highlighting how AI is reshaping modern project environments. Whether you’re delivering cyber uplift, digital transformation, or operational projects, this talk will help you understand how to harness AI’s strengths while safeguarding your teams and systems from its evolving threats.
This is about Artificial Intelligence in project management, we discuss prompt engineering, RAG, practical use cases and ways to enhance the way to deliver projects. This is not an introduction - it assumes basic working knowledge of AIs in the workplace. We also encourage networking and offer this event as a way to get noticed by project management recruiters.
Would you like to sponsor this event? Join the Hall of fame of past sponsors: Emanate Recruitment, Grant Thornton, Blackroc, Riverside Recruitment, Sensei and CC Consulting. Sponsorship includes:

- Presentation slide & an introduction delivered by event organiser
- Personal introduction at event (if attending), for conversations before and after.
- Follow up on LinkedIn posting and reposting of your own LinkedIn post
- Mention on the podcast
This event starts on time (we are project managers, right?); snacks and drinks will be available, so arrive early to network. After the 15-minute keynote speakers, there is time for community demonstrations and prompt examples of how you use AI. Feel free to please let us know!
Some members will be looking for project management roles. We invite you to add a green sticker to your name tag, and recruiters who have jobs to offer will be wearing a fluoro orange dot. It is NOT mandatory to have a dot on your name tag. ;-) A dot is an invitation to be approached.
Please link with all our sponsors/speakers/presenters! I look forward to connecting with you.
