What we’re about
We are a group mainly for gay and bisexual men looking to make friends and expand our social lives and interests in the Bristol area. We are accepting and welcoming of other orientations and identities, but whatever our differences the thing we all have in common is: we identify as men and are attracted to men.
As a group we value and encourage respect, tolerance, kindness and understanding and as such we do not tolerate unkind behaviour towards each other or behaviour which condones intolerance.
Come one come all, bring everyone you know(gay, straight, family, pets - everyone's welcome) to our BBQ fundraiser. Generously hosted by group members this event is a fun way to try and pay the annual MeetUp fee for the group to keep it going with free events. The more attendee's the more voluntary donations :)
Bring your own beer and blanket/chair. There will be plenty of food(including some vegan) but we welcome any and all extras or side dishes, if so please leave a comment to help the organiser's arrange food.
There are public toilets within 10 mins walk.

Bristol Pride are showing Ang Lee's 1993 romantic comedy 'The Wedding Banquet'.
Wai-Tung Gao is a Taiwanese immigrant living in the United States with his long-term partner Simon, unbeknownst to his parents back home attempting to set him up with women. To stop their pressuring and keep his true situation hidden, Wai-Tung resolves to marry Wei-Wei – a struggling artist from mainland China in need of a green card. But what starts as a convenient deception becomes increasingly elaborate and farcical, as Wai-Tung’s parents fly to the US to meet his so-called bride-to-be.

- Film 'Brokeback Mountain'Needs location
In honour of its 20th anniversary, Bristol Pride are showing Ang Lee's 2005 gay cowboy classic 'Brokeback Mountain'.
Ennis del Mar (Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) are two ranch hands hired to herd sheep on the pastures of Brokeback Mountain during the summer of 1963. Whilst the pair are initially standoffish with each other, the solitude of their environment brings them together, culminating – one night during a storm – in a highly-charged sexual encounter. This relationship becomes complicated when they return to their former lives, where they must learn to either embrace or deny their true feelings against the traditional societal views of masculinity.
