Ho ho hold on, it's time for Toronto Community Bicycle Coalition's 6th annual Cycling Good Cheer bicycle parade!

Back in 2020 when the Santa Claus parade was cancelled, a merry band of volunteers from Toronto Community Bikeways Coalition decided we needed to cheer up the kids along Yonge Street! From the North Pole aka North York to the Lake, it was a joy! It really was such a delight (albeit cold that December) to see kids' faces light up and adults happy to see grown adults dressed up as Santa, elves, and of course reindeer!

6 years later, it is our favourite event of the year!

This year families are coming from all parts of the city - The Grinch from Scarborough, elves from North York, The Bicycle Mayor of Toronto, and Ruby the Red-Nosed Reindeer is trotting the west end families from High Park, as it's a great grazing spot for reindeer!

We will meet at Raccoon Park, 86 Soudan Ave (Yonge/Eglinton), to begin our bicycle parade with bells ringing and a festive playlist south on Yonge all the way to Raccoon Terrace Picnic Area in Biidaasige Park

PLUS a Community Picnic! We will provide coffee & cookies, courtesy of PEDAAL, plus we'll endeavour to make s'mores in the provided bbqs and of course the playground is a great spot for kids to play!

The Raccoon to Raccoon Route is 10km and if cookies are not enough, we encourage participants to bring your own picnic &/or shareables.

The parade is free and fun and for families.
