Think Spring at Black River Farms Vineyard & Winery
Details
We're going to kick off the spring with a return visit to Black River Farms, a family-owned, sustainable vineyard and winery in Lower Saucon. BRF, which opened in 2009, grows all their own grapes (eight varieties on 9 acres) and makes their wine onsite. It's a great winery for the Lehigh Valley favorite Chambourcin. They pour seven different vintages of it.
Also featured are cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, rose', sparkling wines, fruited wines and several different red and white blends. They also make and serve Wardog Spirits. Tasting flights are available for both.
There are both indoor tasting rooms and patios. We'll go wherever they can best accommodate us, most likely outside if weather permits. I will need to make a reservation so please don't get too flaky with the sign-ups.
Feast will provide onsite food service and there will be live music by the DMC Duo (pop, rock, country tunes) from 2 p.m.
See you there!
