Hello everyone,

Welcome to the Monthly Book Club — the discussion edition of the Budapest Silent Book Club for those who enjoy reading the same book and sharing thoughts together.

This March, we’ll be reading The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk. The book explores how trauma affects both mind and body, and how people can heal through a variety of therapeutic approaches.

It’s a fascinating, sometimes intense read that opens the door to deep conversations about psychology, resilience, and the ways our experiences shape us.

🕕 Time: 18:00–20:00 – Group discussion about the book (no silent reading hour this time)
📍 Location: Central Budapest — exact venue will be announced at least one week in advance

I’ll bring a few discussion prompts, but everyone’s thoughts are welcome. Whether you loved the book, found it difficult, or didn’t manage to finish — you’re invited.

If you want to have your say on the next book, join the poll in our Goodreads group(though this one was not voted, i just want to read it:))!
