To estimate, or not to estimate - Story Points vs ...

Estimation is always a challenge. Agile's approach has boiled down to estimating in "relative size" using Story Points (or T-shirt size) and relies on calibrating these estimates to the team. Do we really need estimates and if so, what is the real purpose/benefit.

We'll share some applied use of estimating using relative size and how it's been used (and abused ;-), where we have not needed to estimate and prompt/discuss other styles of estimation used in Agile developments from the group.
