What we’re about
Cambridge Hackspace is a community for everyone who enjoys making anything! Whether your thing is software, electronics, woodwork, fabric, or things we've never yet heard of, we provide a space where you can meet fellow tinkerers and work on your project or dream up new ones. We have laser cutters, 3D printers, wood and metal shops, soldering tools, sewing machines, and lots of spare and scrap materials and parts. We have a public Open Project Night every Tuesday evening where people socialize and work on their projects. And we run workshops, trainings, and other events posted to Meetup, so stay tuned!

See all- Open Project Night - Every Tuesday, In Person!Cambridge Hackspace, Somerville, MA
Welcome to Cambridge Hackspace!
Bring yourself, your ideas, and your projects—any projects!—to the Hackspace and hang out with kindred spirits who like to tinker, learn, and share ideas about making stuff!
No experience necessary, and no existing project required! We're a place and a community when you can explore and develop your curiosity and interest in making things. Come try things out, learn new skills, and meet folks who want to do the same.
Our door can be hard to find! There are directions on our website linked here. We are located next to Market Basket in the same building as Little India (behind Milk Row cemetery). The door is located near the South West corner on the South wall of the building, and is painted white with 438R/440R written in blue on it. The building may be labeled 438 Somerville ave, 440R and 438R depending upon where you look. Please press the Cambridge Hackspace doorbell which is on the left side of the door frame and a bit above the door knob. The doorbell glows so it is easier to find at night.
