Want to get into the studio and record something fun, weird, and probably a bit silly?

Me too!

I'm looking for a crew to record an improvised radio play, to be recorded in the podcast suite at Woden Library (while it's still there - it's under threat right now).

This will be a highly collaborative project. We'll meet a couple of times to agree upon genre, a loose format, and how we'll get the job done. Then we'll book the studio for a block of around three hours, record the ensuing chaos, and edit it into something we can share.

The project is part of the lab: it's an experiment. The aim is to complete a project, not to create something polished and perfect. We'll learn a bunch of things and surely have some laughs on the way. That's the purpose of the exercise.

This is a voluntary community project. I'm hoping to avoid costs for the studio or anything else. If we all agree, the show will go on YouTube, Spotify and similar audio platforms and all involved will be credited according to their preferences.

The first meeting to talk this through will be on Saturday 3 October from 1130am at King O'Malley's in Civic. Email Jay at jaypiza.au@gmail.com if you need to get in touch, or to join the WhatsApp group chat.
