Come on a short, shady, end-of-year walk in Curtin including some great off-leash opportunities and creek paddling for our dogs. You're welcome to join us afterwards for a drink/dinner at Two Blind Mice in Curtin, where Georgia has booked several outdoor tables.

We'll follow a circular route of around 3 km through a series of interconnected parks, mostly along the course of Yarralumla Creek under shady trees.

We will aim to finish the walk in around an hour, walking at a relaxed pace and stopping along the way to let the dogs have a play in the creek, etc.

This is an easy, mainly flat walk with paved options the whole way if required. Otherwise the route includes walking over a mixture of paved footpaths, dirt tracks and irrigated ovals.

There's plenty of free parking at the Curtin shops plus public toilets and a Coles supermarket for last minute shopping.

Important info:

  • You walk entirely at your own risk and you are wholly responsible for your own, and your dog's, behaviour; by rsvping 'yes' to this walk you understand and agree to this condition.
  • All off-leash activities are at the discretion of the walk guide. If for any reason they feel any dog should be back on lead, please respect their decision, as they are trying to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.
  • We ask $7.50 per adult to be paid by card to the guide at the beginning of the walk - children (under 18) walk free of charge. The charge helps cover our meetup subscription, insurance, internet, petrol, and other costs. We will gladly refund this if you are not happy for any reason.
