Saturday Manuka/Forrest walk - off leash parks and tree-lined streets

This is one of my favourite local walks - off leash stretches through well watered ovals in Griffith; wandering through tree-lined, exclusive Forrest streets; and then more off leash opportunities in hidden parks.

The route follows the first part of our Manuka-Griffith walk (https://www.canberradogwalks.com.au/manuka-griffith-walk/) but heads off towards Forrest to create an approximately 5 km route.

We'll be walking on paved paths, across grassy ovals/parks, and on dirt tracks.

There is easy parking in Manuka: pay parking in two multi-storey carparks as well as on the street, plus some free parking on streets within 3 minutes walk of Manuka centre.

Manuka also has plenty of outdoor dog friendly cafes/bars if you'd like a pre or post-walk coffee or more.

• You walk entirely at your own risk and you are wholly responsible for your own, and your dog's, behaviour; by rsvping 'yes' to this walk you understand and agree to this.
• All off-leash activities are at the discretion of the walk guide. If for any reason they feel any dog should be back on lead, please respect their decision, as they are trying to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.
• We ask $7.50 per adult to be paid by card to the guide at the beginning of the walk - children (under 18) walk free of charge. The charge helps cover our meetup subscription, insurance, internet, petrol, and other costs. We will gladly refund this if you are not happy for any reason.
