Come explore the Rhode Island School of Design’s Museum of Art—the 20th-largest art museum in the United States—on February 22!.
The museum’s permanent galleries feature Greek, Roman, Egyptian, European, American, and Asian art, in addition to special exhibits such the Barkan Contemporary Ceramic Collection that underscores the interconnectedness of art.
The cost on Sunday is free, so come along and Jon will fill us in on his knowledge of art (specifically Modern, Ancient Greek, and Roman).
We’ll meet at 11:00 at the museum’s main entrance (20 North Main Street, Providence). Afterward, lets head to lunch at the Parkside Rotisserie & Bar, just a block and a half away (76 S Main St, Providence) to indulge in flavors of the Mediterranean.
