Dementia Club Charity Christmas Event & Raffle: Kingsford pupil Drama / handbells / Chinese musician
Moments of Joy, a dementia-focused community charity in Newham, is hosting its first Christmas celebration for people living with dementia, their families, and care partners. The event will take place on Monday 15 December at St. Mark’s Church & Community Centre, E6 5YA.
The celebration aims to reduce loneliness during the holiday season and support social inclusion. Highlights include performances by local secondary, primary, and university students (drama, dance, singing, handbells), Chinese instrument music by artists from the Youlan Qin community, a live DJ, storytelling, group activities, tea and refreshments.
A small offline raffle will also be held to support our work. Prizes include a free helicopter ride for two, two Christmas hampers, tubs of chocolates, and other donated gifts.
This event brings together residents, volunteers, families, and community organisations to raise awareness of dementia support in Newham and encourage intergenerational and multicultural engagement.
