Crawford Mountain Shuttle Hike

Shuttle hike ascending the Crawford Knob Trail and descending the Chimney Hollow Trail - two PATC maintained trails. This route is about 8 miles long with a 2100 foot elevation gain - definitely a "moderate" rated hike. The shuttle takes about 20 minutes.
Enjoy nice views of Elliott Knob and the Deerfield Valley along this hike, located just off of U.S. 250 west of Staunton and Churchville.
Get an early start on that resolution to hike more often, while I work on my resolution to lead more group hikes!
Depending on participation, the group can meet in Charlottesville, Afton, Staunton, or Churchville. Limited to 10 hikers. Details emailed to attendees on Saturday after RSVPs close.
