Come join us for Holiday Lights in Montgomery county.
From the website:
Our Holiday Lights Festival at Maryland’s Montgomery County Fairgrounds is our signature event, combining the heartwarming spirit of the holidays with the unique vision and creativity that has made it a holiday tradition for communities across Montgomery County. Holiday Lights is a journey through acres of winter wonderland, one of the largest immersive walk-through light festivals of its kind in the United States.
✨ We're lighting up the Montgomery County Fairgrounds with six sparkling worlds including Holidayville, Wonder Journey, Luna’s Enchanted Tales, Zoofari Funland, Underwater Voyage and Pre-historic Adventure. Marvel at whimsical fairy tales, immersive holiday scenes, enchanting animal displays and the dazzling debut of Luna’s Enchanted Tales, featuring interactive light art sculptures, endless photo ops and multidimensional artistry.

Based on our discussion, it looks like the Olney Winter City have closed their trails so the Montgomery county city lights may be our best shot. (The organizers don't seem to have announced this but people who've gone have reported this on FB).
We can continue the discussion here; please feel free to post in the discussion below. I picked a 6pm start time because most people seem to prefer an earlier visit time. I'm totally open to meeting somewhere else first so we can enter together. Maybe people want to grab a coffee or hot chocolate to warm up first? And someone also mentioned car pooling. Details can always be changed.
Everyone is in charge of purchasing their own ticket. Please see the website for details. (Tickets are $40.23 including taxes and fees)
Thank you Michelle for the suggestion!
