Downtown Lunch Club: Southern Star

Do you live or work downtown and need a breath of fresh air? Or maybe you're a home or at-your-desk luncher, or a regular with your work buds at the taco shop around the corner but just want to make new friends outside of your work crew once in a while. In any case, let's meet up for a once a month, weekday lunch club checking out different spots around town. Guests are welcome so if you want to bring your work buddy or your best friend or plus one, feel free!

"Rick and Nancy Adams started serving Blue Plates in a small restaurant on Chattanooga's southside over twenty years ago. A lot has changed since then, but some things always stay the same; same recipes, same ingredients, and same goal- great southern cooking. Stop by during lunch for a classic southern blue plate or enjoy our cooking from your own home by choosing from our wide selection of grab and go entrees, sides, salads, and quiche.

We serve a hot blue plate from 11-2:30. Our downtown location has a self serve hot bar. We also offer freshly made salads, sandwiches, hot soup, and a deli case full of delicious options! We also make tons of fresh daily takeaway options- entrees, sides, quiche, and much more. Don't forget to treat yourself to a made-from-scratch-dessert!
