Join the Chiltern Young Walkers for a lovely stroll from the Historic Town of Berkhamsted. The walk will include passing Berkhamsted Castle site of the submission of the English to William the Conquerer. It will also skirt the edge of Ashridge National Trust Estate (mainly woodland sections on established paths). Our return to Berkhamsted we will pass along a section of the Grand Union Canal.

The walk is mainly on established woodland and open country footpaths and may be muddy in places. There are also a couple of ascents of 50 metres - 70 metres on typical Chiltern Hills. Please bring suitable comfortable walking boots and suitable clothes for the weather on the day.
