Where to Meet
Time - by 11.15am In front of the rotunda. in Johnstone Park, (24-28 Gheringhap St, Geelong VIC 3220)
Time – 11.15am walk to Geelong City Market on Little Malop street Central
A market that has world class produce, food and beverage offerings at its core with an abundance of peripheral stalls and activations that showcase the regions creativity, culture, attractions and experiences. ‘It is a place to shop, eat, drink, learn, discover and above all else connect with the local artisans of the Geelong and Barwon Region, and with each other’.
We can get lunch there (anyone late can meet us here)
Time – 12.45pm head towards the Carousel on the waterfront and walk along the front heading to Limeburners Point. How far we travel will depend on the group with the intention of being back in Geelong town at the latest for

Time – 5pm – A meal together in Geelong for anyone wishing to stay later.
Getting there by train
V-Line train, Saturday 30th May 2026
Going - Leaves Southern Cross @ 9.50am, arriving Geelong @ 10.51am with a 6 min walk to the meeting point.
Home – Leaves Geelong @ 5.30pm back to Melbourne
There are later trains for anyone staying for a meal
Wool Museum – Open Daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Adult admission to the National Wool Museum in Geelong is approximately $13, concessions are $10, and children are $8
