Meet up at 6:15 look for my American flag chair and American flag area. Band at 6:30.. Bring a chair. We meet on the grass, Stage right, by the dance floor and sidewalk opposite side of the food trucks.

Park in real spaces by the soccer fields or Progressive Insurance parking lots.

Rockhouse Columbus returns to The Grove Ampitheatre in Mayfield Village on Friday, July 18, meetup at 6:15, band at 6:30 pm.

Get ready for a night of high-energy rock as they take you on a journey through the greatest hits of the 1980s. From Journey and AC/DC to Bon Jovi and Def Leppard, their electrifying setlist is packed with legendary songs that will have you singing along all night.

An incredible night of live music under the stars. Bring your own chair. Meet on the grass, stage right, by the dance floor and the sidewalk opposite the food trucks. Look for my Brown’s blanket and American flag chair.

Park in real spaces there are lots of parking lots. Summertime is fun time!

Parking: The map leads you to the main Calvin parking lot. You can also park on streets, not fire hydrant side: Drexel is closest to the field. More: Seven Hills Blvd, Parkhaven & surrounding streets. Very nice neighbors are used to this.

Heat/safety: I'm bringing two 3-gal water dispensers, ice, and "Dixie cups." There is a water fountain by the (very nice!) bathrooms, including a bottle-filler. Will have a small first aid kit. Defib machine/box at bathoom. Field is little red gravel, not sand, so be careful if you slide.

Sun may not make it behind the trees 6-8p. Dugout seating has covers. I'll bring umbrellas, extra ballcaps, and extra sunscreen spray.

There is a "splash park," to cool off, near the parking lot - press the red button. Operating until 730p.

This first pick-up game all set for Sat, July 19, 6-8p. Next game?: What days/times work for you? Options are Sat's, Sun's, some Fri's - anytime thru 930p. One suggestion was Sun's, 730-930p.

We're starting with slow-pitch co-ed softball. I have 5 aluminum bats (various lengths/weights), 9 gloves (various sizes), and 24 11" softballs. We can try regular baseball sometime, if enough people prefer that.

This is co-ed, or whatever works. For "adults" or capable of playing with adults. Many want to play, but say they're not as good as they used to be. Me, too! The idea is to have fun and enjoy the game - not hardcore competitive. Play at your own risk.
