at the Independence Civic Center Atrium (behind the library)

If you've never played before, that's ok. We'll teach you, but there are 2 requirements:

1. You need a solid understanding of at least 1 other trick-taking game (pinochle, euchre, hearts, spades...)
2. You need to show up consistently. If you come this week and 2 weeks later and 4 weeks after that, you'll never get it.

If you're an experienced player, please join us whenever you can. There won't be a lot of "lecture", mostly just playing.

If you signed up and can't make it, please Edit RSVP at the bottom of the event. Don't be a No Show.

This is a JOINT event with the 55 and over Social Singles group.

First Patio party of the Season!! Please join us on this beautiful outdoor Patio under our specially reserved Pergola with a Chandelier to listen & dance to this Amazing band that played for our Holiday party in December, IN LIKE FLINN! They will keep you dancing all night long! The Cafe has a great menu as well as tasty drinks!

* Just a FYI there is a flight of stairs down to the bathrooms for those of you who have issues with steps. Steps into the restaurant also.* Parking is in the Median, next door and is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. Hope to see you there and don't forget your dancing shoes !

This is a small place, so patience is strongly encouraged.

RESCHEDULED TO FRIDAY, JUNE 20th from 6:30p, weather permitting. Tomorrow being 49 degrees and the outdoor venue is saturated.

Rescheduled to Fri., June 20th at an outdoor music venue Stonewater Golf Club’s: The Yard. The 10th tee area in the back yard is the outdoor gathering space with a real fireplace pit that burns wood, tables, a big bar, the band on the hill, a food truck, and happy people.

One of our favorite dance bands, the K St. band, plays from 7 to 10 pm outside behind the Rustic Grill. Park in the huge parking lot and walk towards the golf course. You’ll see the lights and people. We’re on the hill below a putting green.

We are doing a combo meetup with another Eastside 40’s, 50’s etc. in June.

The dance floor is a stone patio so wear appropriate shoes, not sandals. Casual attire, but why not look good?

Food Truck/Stand: Hamburgers, tacos etc. available for purchase in the Yard at the
Rustic Grill Food Stand open 5:00pm – 9:00pm.

Meet on the hill near the fire pit. Bring a chair. No outside alcohol — buy something from the bar — this supports hiring the bands. Thanks and see you soon!
