Warrumbungle National Park is Australia’s first (and one of only three) internationally Certified Dark Sky Park.

Practicalities:

• Warrumbungle National Park is about 500 km or 6-hour drive from Sydney. Ride sharing is encouraged, please indicate in the comments section whether you are a driver or a passenger.
• The dates chosen are favourable for milky way photography where the galaxy core is visible roughly between 1am and 5am with only 5% illumination from the moon. I expect that these days will be popular, so I recommend to rsvp as early as you can so we can organise the campsite bookings well in advance.
