CocoaHeads(.org) is an international group devoted to discussion of Apple's Cocoa Framework for programming on Mac OS X. During monthly meetings, members present on their projects and offer tutorials on various programming topics. We are the CocoaHeads Aachen Chapter, hosted by the Media Computing and Human-Computer Interaction Group at RWTH Aachen University. We get together for informal short talks and demos, have a pizza, and talk code.
Our in-person meetings usually take place in german, but most participants are happy to connect with you in english, too!

[ONLINE!!] "Cross-Plattform Apps mit Capacitor und SvelteKit"

bei unserem nächsten (Online-!)Treffen zeigt uns Lutz Grätz, wie sich mit SvelteKit und CapacitorJS moderne Mobile Apps für iOS, Android und das Web aus einer gemeinsamen Codebasis entwickeln lassen.
Wir schauen uns an, wie sich Backend-Services wie Supabase, In-App-Subscriptions mit RevenueCat sowie Tailwind und Konsta UI für ein natives Look & Feel einsetzen lassen. Außerdem geht es darum, wie man Code zwischen Web und Mobile teilt und trotzdem problemlos auf native Funktionen wie z.B. Geolocation, Push Notifications und Background-Prozesse zugreift.
Der Talk richtet sich an alle, die Web-Know-how haben und damit echte, produktionsreife Mobile Apps bauen wollen – ohne drei Apps parallel zu pflegen.
