Workshop: Super Smash Bros bot tournament
Details
This month we are running a workshop into creating bots for the computer game Super Smash Bros Melee. We can then face our bots off against each other in a kockout tournament to see who has built the ultimate agentic fighter!
The framework we will be using is based off of the Dolphin Nintendo 64 emulator and the Libmelee Python library. Feel free to clone and start playing with it now, or we will be running through installing the dependencies and getting up to speed on the day.

What will you do?
- hand craft a bot to use Jigglypuff's powers to her full potential?
- write a bot that randomly smashes buttons?
- port the SmashBot code over to this framework?
- get an LLM to write a bot from your natural language instructions?
PR's to improve the framework are also very welcome as it is is very bare bones right now.
