"We are not born with maps; we make them" - M. Scott Peck

Start your week off right, finding answers to some of your dilemmas. New to the area, lifestyle change? In a rut?

Circle of Friends is a place to exchange ideas, pool our knowledge, ask questions, share or listen. Each time we concentrate on one topic only. These are fun or serious things that most of us experience, ie job challenges, socializing, coping with inflation, staying healthy, fashion sense, places to explore in DFW and more, (as suggested by you in the coming weeks).

In meeting face to face we exchange rapid fire ideas that bounce off one another. And doing so not only builds bonds, but helps each of us become more self reliant. And that makes life a whole lot easier.

Topic #44 - Preparing for a Rainy Day

The Mormons believe in preparation, for job loss, climate events, supply shortages, even inflation through government policies. This involves storing food and other necessities for such a time. Is this necessary? Are the other steps we should be taking to prepare ourselves for future uncertainty? What do you think?

Thank you all for your contributions and let's keep the momentum going with our next topic.
