Would you like to try something different in 2026?
A great way to keep your mind and body fit would be to try Scottish Country Dancing… and you don’t need to be Scottish!
People from all over the world enjoy getting fit, having fun and making new friends when they Dance Scottish .
- You don’t have to wear tartan or a kilt (though you can if you like)
- You don’t need special footwear (soft flat shoes are fine)
- You don’t need to bring a partner although bringing your adult children would add to family fun.
However… - You DO need to have a reasonable degree of fitness
- You DO need to be able to follow instructions
- You DO need to be prepared to smile!
So, why not give it a try?
For new or inexperienced dancers, this course introduces the steps and formations found in many Scottish country dances. They may be familiar to people who have had the fun and enjoyment of joining in a Scottish ceilidh or done ballet or Highland dancing in the past.
Dates: Wednesdays 1st April
Time: 6.30pm - 8.00pm (1.5 hrs)
Venue: St Aidan’s Church Hall, Downing Street, EPPING
Cost: $90 for six sessions
Teachers: All experienced and qualified
