Session 8: Multi-Agent Systems — Debate, Orchestration & Honest ROI Assessment
Multiple agents debating, challenging, synthesising. When it works, when it doesn't, and how much it costs.
Demo (~15 min): Trigger a multi-agent debate using AG2 — optimist, pessimist, critic argue in the terminal. Show config, cost per run (~$0.05). Compare vs single agent output.
AI Hands-on (~15 min): Group exercise: design a multi-agent system for YOUR domain. Pick a real problem someone in the room has. Whiteboard the agents: what role does each play? What tools do they need? When should a human intervene? When is a single agent enough? We sketch it out together and debate whether multi-agent actually helps here.
Open Floor (~20 min): CrewAI vs AG2 vs LangGraph — experiences? When did multi-agent add real value? What orchestration patterns work? Brainstorm: problems in your domain that need multiple AI perspectives.
