About us
On the second Wednesday of the month the digital analytics community gets together for one or two short talks in an informal setting. There's lots of time for open ended discussion and to socialise. Plus there's free drinks!
Open to anyone interested in digital analytics, we have people ranging from beginners through to analytics gurus and from marketing through to technical spaces, and everything in between.
Data & Analytics Wednesday is a great place to learn about what's happening in the digital analytics field, meet your peers and solve problems together.

Meet up with your analytics peers and chat
World Square, 644 George Street, Sydney, Sydney, AUWhy dashboards fail and how to design them better: Using design thinking and AI to build dashboards people actually use
Danni Liu, Founder, DashByte Co.Most dashboards don’t get used. The ones that do are designed differently.
In this session, Danni will unpack why dashboards often fail and show a more practical approach to designing them.
Using design thinking, she'll demonstrate how shifting the focus from building dashboards to designing for use, whether that’s understanding, exploration, or decision-making, can dramatically improve their impact.
Danni will also touch on how AI can support this process.
How to Build Scalable Agentic AI Applications for Enterprises
Arthur Backouche, Marketing Technology Strategist | Salesforce expertAgentic AI is moving us from simple chatbots to systems of agents that can plan, call tools, and collaborate across your stack—but most implementations still break when you try to run them at scale.
In this talk, Arthur will walk through a reference architecture for production-grade agentic AI: how to structure agents, connect them to enterprise systems via MCP/tools, route across multiple models through an LLM gateway, and add the orchestration, caching, and guardrails needed for reliability and cost control.
Arthur will finish with a checklist for platform and architecture teams—covering data products, observability of multi-step workflows, and secure-by-design patterns aligned with current AI security guidance - leaving you with a concrete blueprint you can start implementing immediately.
