The Deepening: Supporting Each Other's Journey
Details
The heaviness of society can really weigh us down. The Deepening is a sharing circle to support each other's journey. This circle offers a powerful invitation to be seen, to be heard, and to show up fully alongside other people committed to their own evolution. For just a few hours, you can drop the mask and live as your most authentic self, powerful and free from judgment.
This container will be highly structured within each meeting. The facilitator will manage the process, ensure everyone has the opportunity to share, and keep the event running on schedule.
We accept anyone who is committed to their personal development.

Mission
We create a safe, supportive space for people to foster personal growth, develop emotional intelligence, and build deeper connections with themselves and others by openly sharing challenges and triumphs, offering and receiving truthful feedback, and holding each other accountable for personal goals and aspirations.
Rules
- Confidentiality is by far the most important rule. Only by ensuring confidentiality will members feel safe to share even the details of their own process without fearing that the stories will get outside the group.
- Respect for all members of the circle. Respect in the circle ensures that everyone learn to speak in turn while practicing active listening whenever others are sharing. It is believed that showing respect to other members is also an ideal way of practicing self-respect. Respect also involves respecting other members’ personal space, boundaries and feelings.
- Commitment for a circle to function, group members need to be present participants. Members often say that seeing others sharing and contributing is the motivation factor that keeps them going to the meetings.
- Open communication is the basis of any support group. Everyone is free to share their fears, feelings and thoughts. This will enable a deeper connection, and allow the personal growth every man is seeking.
- Honesty with yourself and the group is an essential ingredient for your development journey. This includes being honest with your words and feelings.
- Treat everyone fairly and in the way you want to be treated. These people are from different walks of life, experiencing different life issues. To ensure fairness in the group, there is zero tolerance to bullying, aggressive or passive-aggressive. This is ensured for the safety of all members and because a circle is supposed to be a safe space for all members.
