What makes us different? The area around Middletown and Dayton is fast growing and under-represented in the Meetup arena. We are trying to bridge that gap with social activities that take place all over this region.
What else? If you’re shy, come early and meet with the organizers first. We will do our best to make you feel at ease and introduce you to others as they arrive for an event.
Is that all? Remember, we can organize events, but without you, there is no group. So sign up and get active!

See all- Cox Arboretum, Another 'After the Rain' Monday Evening Hike!Cox Arboretum MetroPark , Dayton, OH
I'm in the mood to see some pretty flowers! And this is looking like it's going to be a really nice hike! There will be a lot of clouds, but we're not supposed to get any rain. That is supposed to move out of the area over the weekend. It will be about 70 degrees when this hike starts with a nice breeze, and there will likely be some mud in some places, but nothing heavy duty. Cox drains pretty well, but you'll still want a pair of hiking boots or shoes you don't mind getting a bit muddy. There are some hills, but none of them are especially demanding. The pace for this will be around 2.8mph for around 3 - 3.25 miles. You may like a change of shoes for your drive home. This hike is cross posted with another meet-up group.
The Legal Stuff: Your hike leader is just a fellow member volunteer. By participating in this hike, you assume all risks of liability and injury inherent in hiking activities.
