Social engineering is the primary method malicious actors use to gain initial access to networks. In this presentation, Vinnie, winner of DEF CON 33's social engineering competition, will break down the professional practice of performing social engineering assessments for organizations, covering:
- Phishing Infrastructure: The frameworks and technologies behind effective campaigns.
- Reconnaissance: Techniques for gathering open source intelligence (OSINT) to craft convincing pretexts.
