For decades in industry, AI has been a term attached to any kind of advanced algorithm, non-heuristic search, or machine learning, but with the meteoric rise of GPTs "AI" in the broader tech community is seen through the lens of humans prompting text based GPTs to get answers or perform actions. Hallucinations from general purpose flagship models of big tech companies are no longer hilariously common, but that doesn't help when you've got a knowledgebase that you want to query. I will be covering the basics of managing what your AI knows without needing to retrain it from a practical architect's and engineer's angle rather than a data scientist's.
