DFW Voice Actors Collective First Meetup: Take Two!

Welcome to the DFW Voice Actors Collective Kickoff, Take Two!

This meetup is for voice actors of all experience levels across the DFW area who are interested in connecting, sharing experiences, and building a local community. Whether you’re just getting started or already working in the industry, this is a chance to meet fellow voice talent, talk about gear, auditions, workflows, and creative goals, and help shape what future meetups look like.

After running into early issues with venues and timing with our original event, this kickoff will be held at a new venue with confirmed evening hours.

I’m currently considering a few possible locations, including Breaking Brew Meadery (14438 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75244), Sidecar Social (5100 Belt Line Rd, Addison, TX 75254), Barnes & Noble (5301 Belt Line Rd, Ste 118, Dallas, TX 75254), and Feng Cha (5225 Belt Line Rd #254, Dallas, TX 75254), Grandscape 5752 Grandscape Blvd, The Colony, TX 75056. I’m also open to venue suggestions.

That said, I’m absolutely open to other platform suggestions as well, such as Facebook Messenger, Discord, or anything else the group prefers. The goal is to use something that’s easy to join and use for everyone.

Someone also suggested sharing general locations within DFW so we can choose more centralized spots going forward, which I think is a great idea. If you’re comfortable, feel free to comment with the general area of DFW you’re coming from.
