Have you ever watched Kabuki? Even if you haven't, you've probably heard the word "Kabuki" somewhere. Kabuki is a traditional Japanese performing art that began over 400 years ago and is still incredibly popular today.

Recently, a movie titled "Kokuho (National Treasure)" set in the Kabuki world has become one of the biggest box office hits of all time in Japan, sparking a new wave of Kabuki enthusiasm across the country.

In my presentation, I'd love to introduce you to how Kabuki was born and captivated audiences, the kinds of stories performed on stage, and amazing stage mechanisms. Furthermore, the remarkable artistry of “Onnagata”, male actors specialized for female roles, is one of the most distinctive and fascinating features of Kabuki.

I'll also share some helpful tips that will make your future Kabuki experience even more enjoyable.
I look forward to seeing you there!
