This month we are doing something a little different - the meetup has been brought forward a week and will be held on a Tuesday to accommodate Pierre Joye, who is in town. Pierre is a PHP Core Developer and OSS contributor since more than a decade. He leads the PHP Windows support, main developer from LibGD and works on many OSS projects such as curl and many other libraries.

Microsoft Australia and Sydney Drupal are offering a complimentary workshop session with Pierre Joye. Come and find out more about the power of Drupal on Azure with Pierre Joye! Pierre will covering topics ranging from how to develop and deploy your apps on Azure, to a comprehensive intro to Websites, Azure VMs and Docker – everything you need to know to quickly get to work with Azure! The floor is open to suggestions for topics, so come along with your questions and ideas. We will also have a limited number of Azure Passes we will be handing out to the most active attendees so bring your laptops and favourite apps!
