Weekly Saturday Movie Night (Placeholder Listing)
This is our placeholder for our weekly Saturday movie night. We run it every Saturday and have consistently for several years (barring the occasional special event or truly terrible weather). So even if we get behind on updating a specific week, you can pretty much count on Movie Night happening — and you’re always welcome to message us if you want to confirm details.
Movie Night is the foundation and flagship event of the Dysfunctional Clubhouse, and it’s meant to feel exactly like that: relaxed, low-pressure, come-as-you-are.
How the night works:

  • Each week has a theme
  • We pick 6 movie options
  • We watch the trailers
  • Then we vote and watch two movies for the night

The vibe:
Snacks are solid, comments during movies are totally allowed, and there’s enough space to step aside and talk if the movie isn’t your cup of tea. No movie snobs. No pressure. Show up when you can, stay as long as you want.
New people are welcome — you won’t be put on the spot. Just vote, snack, and enjoy.

P.S. Timekeeping is… an aspirational concept for most of us. As a general guideline, trailers usually start around 6:30, and the first movie usually starts around 7:00. Show up whenever you want — but if you want to catch the beginning of the movie, aiming for 7:00 is a safe bet.

It's also not unheard of to throw in games, random videos, and other things before and after the 2 main movies.
